The Northeast Regional Children’s Advocacy Center (NRCAC) was established in 1995 as one of the four Regional CACs developed by the U.S. Department of Justice to promote the CAC movement on a national level. NRCAC provides services to help strengthen existing CACs in the Northeast and works with the regional community to coordinate and provide trainings. This agency plans annual conferences for the various disciplines involved with child abuse cases and assists in the development of new CACs in the Northeast.
NRCAC collaborates with NCA to conduct events such as national training conferences, Chapter Summits and research efforts. NRCAC is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention grant.
